Created during a period of intense geopolitical tension in Europe, I Don't Understand emerged as a visual response to the human incapacity to stop making war, invading and destroying — the planet and each other. Told not through anger, but through wonder.
Through immersive 360° animation, hand-drawn illustration and a meticulously crafted soundscape, I Don't Understand asks difficult questions through fantasy and lyricism — leaving space for the audience's imagination to shape its own meaning. No answers. Only the question, made beautiful.
