About
Colectivo 19 is a Madrid-based audiovisual art studio founded by director Agustina Covián and artist Alejandro Lucadamo, with composer Laurent Sauvagnac as the sonic force behind their work.
Together they move across the full spectrum of the moving image — from independent art pieces exhibited in international festivals to commissioned work for brands, institutions, film productions and private collectors. Their practice is built on a simple premise: that handcrafted images, when set in motion, carry something that purely digital work cannot.
Their debut fulldome film was selected and awarded at FulldomeUK Festival and Fulldome Festival Jena, and nominated for the Best of Earth Awards — the global coalition of the world's leading fulldome film festivals. Their work has also been shown at the Experimental Loop International Video Art Festival in New York, exhibited at Galería Plaza del Gato, Madrid, and presented at ARCO Madrid 2024.
Agustina Covián
Audiovisual director, producer, artist and cultural creator. Trained in Visual Communication at Boston University and Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music, her career took her from Boston to Los Angeles — where she entered the film industry — and on to Paris, where she worked with Spike Lee, Oliver Stone and Martin Scorsese. Her short films from that period were awarded at international festivals.Back in Madrid, she founded her own production company — directing music videos, short films and documentaries for the Museo Reina Sofía, and working commercially with France Telecom, Telecom Italia, Sony Music, Lexus, Sybilla and Live Nation. In parallel, she exhibited video art and created stage visuals for theater — always moving between disciplines, never choosing just one.
For three years she worked as right hand to the President of Live Nation Spain, producing major concerts and large-scale live experiences at the highest level of the industry. As Project Manager of the Mediterranean Music Institute at Berklee College of Music, she conceived and produced landmark cultural projects: El Refugio del Sonido with El País and Médicos Sin Fronteras, the Ellas Crean festival with UN Women in Valencia, and the Casa Limón New York Week festival.
She currently serves as curatorial advisor at Galería Plaza del Gato — the Madrid gallery founded by iconic Spanish designer Sybilla — where Colectivo 19's work has been exhibited.
At Colectivo 19, she brings together everything — three decades of international cinema, live production, institutional culture and visual art — into a single creative force.
Alejandro Lucadamo
Argentine artist based in Madrid with four decades of artistic, philosophical and sensory exploration. Trained in architecture in Buenos Aires and later in drawing and graphic design at the Panamericana School of Art, he began his career in editorial illustration — working for La Vanguardia, El Periódico de Cataluña and international publications from Barcelona.His practice has evolved constantly — from illustration to painting, sculpture to engraving, the descriptive to the symbolic, the two-dimensional to the immersive. His work explores human condition, sensuality, death, memory and transformation through an iconography rooted in nature, mythology, eroticism and spirituality.
He has collaborated with Coach and Hugo Boss, designed theater sets, and he created Paleolítico Pop Superior — a series of votive sculptures in refractory clay merging divinity and pop culture, later expanded into an immersive virtual reality world populated by his totems. His work has been exhibited internationally across four decades.

Laurent Sauvagnac
Film composer and sound designer trained at Berklee College of Music, Boston. For over 25 years he has composed for cinema, television and documentary, and crafted sonic experiences for luxury brands, living spaces and exhibitions.His practice explores the relationship between sound, color and consciousness — integrating binaural frequencies and brainwave research into deeply intentional soundscapes. Informed by research, driven by art: a permanent pursuit of beauty and meaning.
